TRANSFERRING TO JUNIOR SCHOOL in September 2025
Allocation letters have now been issued, by email on 10 April 2025, to families who applied on-time for a place at a Junior school in September 2025. You will see on the Poral application an outcome for each individual school, which will be one of the following:
Place Offered - this is the school you have been offered.
Place Requested - this school has been unable to offer you a place.
Discard - this school was not needed because a higher preference has been offered.
If you are happy with the offer and wish to accept it, you can accept the place on the application in the Parent Portal.

NATIONAL OFFER DAY - Wednesday 16 April 2025
On Wednesday 16 April, on-time applicants will receive the result of their application. From 10:00am you will be able to view details of the offered school by viewing the application.
You will see an outcome for each individual school, which will be one of the following:Place Offered - this is the school you have been offered.
Place Requested - this school has not been able to offer your child a place.
You will also receive a letter, which will be sent to you by email during the morning of 16 April, with further details, including waiting lists and appeals if appropriate.

IN-YEAR APPLICATIONS
Applications for an In-Year place (moving to the area or wishing to change schools within the academic year) can be made through this website, for any school in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council area.
Please also ask your child's current/previous school (if within the UK) to complete the following Background Information Form.
If you wish to apply for a place at a school in any other Local Authority area, you will need to apply through the relevant Local Authority.
