Applications for an In-Year place (moving to the area or wishing to change schools within the academic year) can be made through this website, for any school in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council area.
If you are a key worker for the purposes of the Coronavirus restrictions, please give brief details in the box marked "Reason for changing school". You reach this page after setting up the child's details and when starting their application.
Please also ask your child's current/previous school (if within the UK) to complete the following Background Information Form
If you wish to apply for a place at a school in any other Local Authority area, you will need to apply through the relevant Local Authority.

The closing dates have now passed for applications for starting Reception, Junior, Middle, Secondary and Upper school in September 2020.If you have not yet applied, you will need to ask us for a paper form.

Viewing details of your offered school
Allocations will be available on this website on Thursday 16 April 2020 at 10:00am. You will need to log in to your account to view your allocated school. Alongside your preferences will be one of the following statements:
Place Offered – this means that this is the school place allocated to your child.
Place Requested – this means that you requested a place at this school but the school has been unable to offer you a place.
Discard – this means that, as you have been offered a higher preference, we did not pursue this request.
If you have not been successful with any of your preferences, we may have allocated a place for your child at an alternative school. If this is the case, Place Offered will show against the alternative school listed below the preferences that you submitted.
Receiving your official offer letter
Further information (especially if you have not been offered your first preference) will be contained in your official offer letter, which will be emailed during Thursday 16 April. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK FOLDER and contact us if you have not received a letter by the morning of Monday 20 April.
Accepting or declining a place
You can accept a place online by responding alongside the offered school in your list of preferences (or alternatively by email or post as discussed in your offer letter). If you are declining a place, you will need to confirm this by email or letter.
