Please apply for the 2-Year-Old childcare funding in the term your child turns 2 years old.

• If your child turns 2YO in September-December: Apply in the Autumn term to start funding in January.
• If your child turns 2YO in January-March: Apply in the Spring term to start funding in April.
  
• If your child turns 2YO in April-August: Apply in the Summer term to start funding in September.
  

If you apply too early, your code may not be valid when your child meets the age criteria or starts a childcare setting.
