I am passionate about providing an exploratory learning environment following each child’s interests enabling each one to reach their own potential. All children are actively encouraged to choose their own activity and lead their own learning as well as joining in a variety of group activities. Being in a small group each child benefits from my attention at every opportunity to enhance their learning.
I love how each child is different and unique as that means my setting never stagnates as each childs interests are different so we enjoy different activities together. What I did with 2 boys last year was totally different from 2 boys prior to them as their interests are different, but they all reached their potential with a wide base of experiences enhancing their learning and play.
Activities and outings follow their interests and I enjoy going to the different places they choose on the day.
The children are involved in discussing their ideas and wherever possible they are fulfilled, at the moment we are busy building a Castle for the Princesss, Knights, Kings and Army! With each child adding their own ideas and being involved. Our previous joint making was a request made over lunch by a 4 year old to make a road that goes up and down and round like this with arm flailing around the head so we did! With everyone being drawn in in the enthusiasm and WOW they were all SO proud of their creation and all the fun in playing with it.


The children have lots more ideas to fulfill, why not let your child come and join them? You will have to be quick to find a vacancy, but beware, I have a problem with children wanting to stay when you come to pick them up, whatever their age!!
